Renew Psychology’s Oludotun Ogunfowora, MC. is a registered psychologist in Calgary. Her name, Dotun, translates to “renew” or “become new” in Yoruba language, which is a reflection of her commitment to helping clients renew their perspectives and co-create pragmatic solutions that can be easily sustained, regardless of their lifestyles. 

With varied treatment approaches to her clients’ concerns, Dotun Ogunfowora provides compassionate support for clients of all ages and in all walks of life. She has a comprehensive understanding of psychology and common mental health complaints. Dotun consistently upholds her responsibilities to her clients, providing them with insight and support as they navigate unique challenges and circumstances.

Certified Canadian Counsellor

Sophie Wong, MC is a certified canadian counsellor. She is committed to assisting clients in their learning journey. Navigating through their experiences and obstacles in a space of acceptance and hope. 

Recognizing that everyone is on their unique walk of life, Sophie works with her clients through the most suitable therapeutic treatment for their needs. She has 15 years of extensive experiences championing Human Resources, Diversity Equity and Inclusion and Women in Leadership in both public and private organizations. As an advocate for growth and development, Sophie would like to support her clients in creating meaningful change.

Certified Canadian Counsellor

Kike Aderibigbe is a Canadian Certified Counsellor whose transition from a career as a Chartered Professional Accountant in the corporate world to the field of mental health reflects her deep belief in personal growth and the power of meaningful change at any stage of life.

As a clinician and counsellor, she provides trauma-informed therapeutic support with a strong emphasis on culturally responsive care. Kike helps clients navigate mental health challenges and life transitions. Known for her calm presence and collaborative spirit, she creates a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

Certified Canadian Counsellor

Navpreet Johal is a Canadian Certified Counsellor who believes that connectedness ​

is essential for overall health and wellness. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their challenges, understand how thoughts, feelings, and beliefs influence well-being, and work toward restoring balance in their lives. With a compassionate approach, she adapts her communication style to meet each person’s unique needs, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and capable of growth.

As a counsellor, Navpreet guides individuals through life’s difficulties, including trauma, emotional distress, anxiety, and everyday stressors. She provides the tools, strategies, and encouragement needed to unlock each person’s potential and foster resilience. Her mission is to empower clients to take control of their healing journey and move confidently toward emotional well-being and a more fulfilling future.

Paul Desipeda, BA
Student Therapist

Paul is currently completing his master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, practicing under the clinical supervision of a qualified practicum supervisor. He has worked extensively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, supporting clients with complex mental health and developmental needs. Paul brings a wealth of experience from his background in early childhood services, neurodiverse interventions, and school and family counselling.

 

Paul believes each client is the expert of their own story and is passionate about helping them leverage their unique strengths to create meaningful change. He takes a compassionate, non-judgmental, and collaborative approach, tailoring his methods to meet the needs of each individual. Combining solution-focused therapy, emotion-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral 

Therapy, and mindfulness, Paul supports clients in navigating significant distress and achieving lasting growth. Known for his empathetic and caring nature, Paul strives to make clients feel 

safe, heard, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

Ethan Martin, BA
Student Therapist

Ethan is currently completing his Master's degree in Counselling Psychology in Calgary Alberta. He has a background working with those struggling through crisis which has informed his belief in the resilience of people. He believes that life throws hard things our way, but by working together and sorting through the complex, we each have a story of growth to tell.
Above all, Ethan believes in building a strong therapeutic relationship to create a space of safety, trust and authenticity. Healing doesn't have to be done alone and connection is often the first step in meaningful life change.

Dotun holds a Master of Counselling Psychology from Seattle City University in Calgary. Her Master’s thesis focused on the Experiences of Gay Men Accessing PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) in North America. Dotun completed a poster presentation at the Canadian Psychological Association Annual Conference in 2017, showcasing her thesis.
